CHEESEPOP WINS “ANUGA TASTE INNOVATION SHOW 2017” WITH ITS NEWLY INTRODUCED 10G AND 20G BAGS!

Cheesepop is awarded for its newly introduced 10 gram and 20 gram packaging sizes at the ANUGA 2017 during the Anuga Taste Innovation Show. An expert jury, comprising of journalists, elected the products from over 2,300 products that were entered in the Anuga New Products Database this year.

Cheesepop B.V., a Dutch manufacturer of innovative cheese products, launched the new packaging sizes for the first time at the ANUGA 2017 in Cologne. The new packaging sizes are accredited for their innovative appearance, their ease of use and their features to consume it as a ready-to-eat snack and culinary extra.

After launching Cheesepop in a 65 gram cup on the retail market and in a 500 gram bag on the food service market, the new 10 gram and 20 gram bags are now introduced to serve the upcoming convenience market. The smaller packages are very suitable for in a prepackaged salad or on the side with an on-the-go pasta. Next to the application as culinary extra, these new packaging sizes are also perfect for immediate consumption. Consumers can use it as a snack on-the-go, after their sport activities or when being at school.

Many positive reactions on the packages were gained during the exhibition. The airline industry, food service industry and retail market recognized the ease of use of the new packages, appreciated the relative long shelf life and expressed their compliments for the partly transparent bag to show the freshness of the product.

The two different varieties, Gouda and Emmental, are produced and packed in The Netherlands and will be introduced to Cheesepop’s customers worldwide
